Year Ends

It is already the 31st of December.Time certainly flies.

The two things I remember for the year of 2009 are working and repeating Form 6.

I also learned two things.

Good Friends will never be good friends forever.It doesn't mean that there are no such things as good friend but it definitely require two friends to keep their friendship well.

When brawn and brain take place in a game of basketball the one that plays with brain wins!

The two movies I watched before the year ends are Avatar and Alvin and the Chipmunk.

I Miss School

I have been having my holidays for thirteen days and I am already missing school.

I wish that I will be able to go back to school or study in college again.

It is kinda ridiculous that I am missing college so badly.

Somehow I just feel that attending classes are way better than going out there and look for a job.

I just don't feel like working.

How good if I am allow to enter University right away.

Things are just weird -.-

Objective Papers

All I have to bring to the examination hall is a pencil and an eraser apart from my identity card and examination slip.

My remaining examination papers are all in objective form.

Both papers are in the afternoon.

These allow me to study in the morning.

I am not complaining at all.

I am a happy guy :)

Gap

I still have two more matches to go.

First match is on this Wednesday.

Opponent is Pengajian Am 1

Second match for the week is on this Thursday.

Opponent is BM 1

I am alright with it but the only downside to it is I had my previous paper on last Thursday.

It means that I have a five days gap before my next opponent.

It allow me to rest myself too much which is not a good sign.

It seems like I am having my holidays now -.-

Second Week of Examination

It was week two of examination.It was also known as the horror week.

I have to bear with a back to back Economics papers.

In addition to that, after Economics paper 2 ended, I was only given a mere fifteen hours to prepare for my next paper which is Pengajian Perniagaan 2.

I should be able to pass my Economics this time around.I am not asking too much for Economics.Grade C is good enough.

As for my Business paper I was pretty confident that I should be able to get a B plus or a possible A minus.After dealing with Pengajian Perniagaan 2, my wish for achieving that was quite tough.The question to Pengajian Perniagaan 2 was quite alright, it was just that the preparation for it is not that convincing.Hence Grade B will be fine -.-

Now I look forward to the remaining papers.

Stress Continues

I have taken Microeconomics yesterday.

It gave me a severe stress.

Since Microeconomics=Stress

Then Macroeconomics=MacroStress :p

I have to work hard to pass my macroeconomics.

I can pass my Microeconomics and I can also pass my Macroeconomics!

I need a lot of luck!

Hard work is needed as well!

Tomorrow I will be having my Macroeconomics.

Prediction for this paper is a simple C will do.

As long as I can leap over this very hurdle I will do fine :)

Economy Horror

Week two of exam has finally arrived.

It is known as the Economy week.

I have to bear with two tough papers in three days time.

My fourth opponent is Ekonomi 1 -.-

The toughest opponent of all.

I am super worry now.

I think if economy crisis happen also won't be as bad as me sitting for the exam :p

Prediction for the outcome of this particular paper.

I am hoping for a C.

Still working hard to get a C >.<

Second Day of Examination

Two back to back papers in a day made me a tired student :p

I woke up early in the morning to run through the BM workbook.I have not been revising for my Bahasa paper.

My strategy was start answering the paper from part D then continue with part C then proceed to part B and finally only answer question from part A.

This strategy of mine was too risky.

Part A requires candidates to write an essay consists of seven hundreds words.The mark given for this part is 50.Part B requires candidates to write a rumusan.20 is given for rumusan.As for part C and part D, each part is giving 15 each.

What's wrong with me to start answering question from the lower mark given to the highest.That is why this is risky :p

However things was alright.I managed to finish Part B, C and part D in 1 hour and 45 minutes.I took the remaining time to complete the 700 words essay.I stick to my initial strategy.

I managed to finished the paper on time.The paper was quite alright.I am now aiming for a B plus for this paper :)

After that, there was a 3 hours break.I quickly went back home to do some revision for my next paper.Thankfully these 3 hours of revision did help me to answer questions for Niaga 1.I was amazed that I was able to answer question 2 for my Niaga paper :)

It is almost certain that I will answer question 1, 2, 7 and 8 for my niaga paper.

Question one and two are compulsories.I don't usually managed question 2.However I was lucky that I was able to answer a full question 2.Thank God :)

Daddy always remind me that God only helps those that prepare.

When I first saw question 2 I think of what daddy say :)

I think both papers are quite alright.I am more confident now to face my next hurdle!

Odd

My first paper for today was Bahasa Malaysia paper 2.

There should be 11 candidates sitting for this particular paper in my class.

However only 8 turned up.

What is odd if asked?

It is a Bahasa Malaysia paper.

Seven out of eight candidates that sat for the paper in my class were Indians.

I am the only Chinese that sat for this paper in my class :p

I am alright with it.Things like this never bother me.

What make things more obvious was the invigilator was an Indian too!

Back to Back

Exam resumes tomorrow.

What make things worse is I have to face two papers in a day.

I am having a back to back matches tomorrow.

I should be able to pass both the papers :)

I should get at least a B minus for my BM and a B for Pengajian Perniagaan would be good!

Match Day One

The first match has finally started.

I was pretty pleased that I managed to complete the whole paper.For the first time I finished all five parts required.

I don't usually do part D which required candidates to draw a graph.

I am weak in this part.Besides I don't usually have time to draw a graph when you are required to write three long essays in three hours time.

I started with part B then I proceed to part A.Both these questions have taken close to two hours from the three hours given.I spent fifteen minutes on part C.

I completed part E in half an hour time and for the remaining thirty minutes was for the graph.

I finished the whole paper on time.When the clock showed eleven, I took a final look at my paper to make sure that the correct details have been written down.

I am confident now!

Ray of Success

Venue for my examination is SMK LA SALLE.

When I stepped in the school this morning, I saw two familiar back.I was sure they were my former school mates.

Daddy knew things should be alright from that moment.

Daddy wished me luck.

I thanked him :)

I got to know that my place was situated right in front of the class room when I stepped in the examination class.

My place was blessed with rays of sunlight!

Second Chance

It has also slowly replaced Blogger.People don't blog that often anymore.

It killed of Friendster.It is pretty obvious in Malaysia.

This particular book never failed to be in everyone's heart.

Abolish

I think that they should stop letting the audience to send in messages to vote in competition such as the Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant.

I strongly think that it is unfair for those really good contestants.It is unfair for them to lose out because of the help of smses.

Let's talk about the recent Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2009 Finals.

I think the top 3 winners was pretty good.I think all three of them deserved to win.However I think contestant number 3 do not deserve a place in the top 5.

How did she managed fifth position if asked?

It was just easy.She was voted by the audience.She was crowned the favourite contestant among audiences.

As if she was voted by the audiences.I strongly believe that she asked her friends and family keep sending votes for her that will ensure her to be one of the top 5 contestants.

In my opinion it was unfair for Fiona who was a better contestant that deserve to be Top 5 if compare to contestant number 3 that won fifth position because of all the voting from the so called audiences.

I strongly think that the organizers should abolish this sms voting to ensure a more quality competition.

Rain in Train

The weather was horribly hot.

However there was an English man in the train that got himself wet.

He looked as if he just escaped from the heavy rain.

It was pouring really heavily in the train.

What exactly was happening in the train?

The air condition in the train was leaking :p

Seven Weeks

When 7 multiply by 7 it is equals to 49.

That is the amount of time before my first STPM paper starts.

I went to Genting with my family.Had a night stay in Highland Hotel.We had a buffet dinner in coffee terrace.The food there was awesomely good.Plus there was a variety of food to choose from.I ate a lot.From local favourites to Western to Japanese and so many more.After that I had a rest in the hotel.Due to over eating, I vomited >.<

My Family and I went back to grandmother's house.One way trip took about three hours plus.Sit until butt ache!Well, I had a lot of wantan noodles during breakfast.The ' Gu Ling Peng ' was awesomely good.Well it is actually milk with ice.Yummy :p

Had a karaoke session with friends.Namely Ke Wei, Moon, Yin Mei, Lay Wah and Li Yeong.It costs me RM40.It was very expensive.Bottom line is don't go to Neway for karaoke session.Anyway Ke Wei can really sing.She sang like Mariah Carey!

Outing with Year Six Friends

We had a small gathering two Sundays ago.Since Max was around, he planned everything.From informing people about the outing to setting up the early birthday celebration for Jia Min.

The attendance was pretty good.Eight members of 6I attended.Four guys and four girls.There was something common among the boys and among the girls.Guys were all in glasses and none of the girls were in glasses.

The initial plan was to have our meals in a steamboat restaurant.Max found out that the restaurant was shifted hours before the gathering.Then here comes plan B!We went to Tram Car for lunch.

The food there was pretty good!

The others had a set lunch each.Throughout our time in Tram Car, we talked, talked and talked!The part when we had fun the most was talking about school life during Year 6.I still cannot remember anything regarding Yi Peng ' bullied me ' when it comes to monitor's job.She said that she was the one that did all the easy bitsy job and I was the one that do all the hard work.To me, copying names of pupils that were disobedient was pretty tough to me :p

Astro Star Quest 2009 Finals

The finale has finally ended.Who was crowned Champion of 2009?

I have to say that all my predictions went wrong.None of my predictions were right.

In my opinion this year's final wasn't that good.I was disappointed with the outcome.

The winners for this year's final are :

Champion : Min
First runner up : Kah Fai
Second runner up : Jie Yu
Third runner up : Ryan
Fourth runner up : Alvin

The night started with ' Wu Dong Quan Cheng ' which required the contestants to dance and sing at the same time.There wasn't much problem for Ryan since it was a round which he can perform very well.Jie Yu was below par for this round.

Then the competition proceed with the ' Qing Ge ' round.This round there wasn't much problem for Min and Kah Fai since it was the round which they can perform well.Jie Yu performance for this round was exceptionally well.She sang ' Yan Hai Di Dai '. She sang really well.

After round two has ended, Wan Chean was invited to perform on stage.She sang ' Zhan Chi Gao Fei '.There wasn't much problem for her since she was the champion of 2008.

Alvin was announced as the fourth runner up moments later.Then the other four proceed to round three which required each of the contestants to sing with the company of live band.After the round has ended Ryan was announced as the third runner up.

Now we have our top three contestants.Min, Kah Fai and Jie Yu.They are lucky to have Janice Wei Lan to sing along with them.However Janice only managed to perform one demo because she was not feeling well.At the end each of the contestants help each other by becoming Wei Lan and sing along with each other.It was like role playing.Kah Fai was nervous throughout the round.He did not perform well.As for both of the female contestants, they were exceptionally good especially Jie Yu.At that point, I strongly thinks that Jie Yu will be champion.Eventually she became the second runner up.I think it was not fair for Jie Yu.She should proceed to the next round since her performance was exceptionally well.Kah Fai should not be chosen as the top two.I think there was this favourtism in the judges.They let Kah Fai proceed to the next round instead of the much deserved Jie Yu.

It was down to the final two after two hours and fourty-five minutes of competing.They performed a medley of songs.

Eventually Min was crowned as the champion.She have four votes from the judges which won her a brand new Honda City.I notice there was this motorbike for first runner up.It kinda suits Kah Fai.Should I say it was destined that Kah Fai became the first runner up.Afterall you don't expect a female to ride a bike.Min look better in her brand new honda city :p

My predictions for Astro Star Quest 2009 Finals

Today is the day that the top 5 contestants battle it out for the top spot.Who will emerge as the champion of 2009?

Firstly I would like to introduce this year's top 5 contestants.They are:

Alvin

I think he is good.He has a great voice and he has the package to be a star.My first pick to be the champion of ASQ 2009.

Min

I strongly thinks that she looks way better in her long hair.However she can sing very well.I predict that she will be the first runner up for this year's ASQ.

Ryan

I think he would be this year's second runner up.It is just simple.He has the look to be a star and he can dance although he don't really sing very well.Remember last year's second runner up?Both of them are hardworking in order to minimize their weaknesses in singing.


Kah Fai

He is everyone's favourite to be crown this year's champion.He is known as the king of Canto.He can really sing very well especially when he sings cantonese songs.However I have a feeling that he will be this year's 3rd runner up.


Jie Yu

Finally to our fifth contestants.I think she will be this year's fifth place winner.She is good but the other four contestants are better.However I hope she will perform well tonight.

Another Train Story

I am a regular passenger of LRT.As usual I was on my way home.I was standing in the middle of the train.

Out of a sudden, a quarrel started between a man and a lady.I think the quarrel started because the lady was standing too close to the man which resulted him too little of standing space.After a while, they stopped quarreling.

However when the man arrived at his destination, he scolded the lady.The lady replied with the famous ' F ' word.

The man was furious.

He gave her a whack on the head.

I am not sure who is right and who is at fault.

However one thing for sure a gentlemen shouldn't hit a lady.

Astro Star Quest 2009 Semi Final Four

It has come to the final 6 contestants.Who will be the 5 finalists to be chosen for the final?Who will be eliminated this time around?

The theme for this semi was ' Ta Men De Cheng Ming Qu '

This time around only one of the six contestants will be eliminated.

Two contestants will not need to go through second round to enable themselves for a spot in the final.They were Kah Fai and Min.Kah Fai scored the highest in this semi.

The other 4 contestants have to battle out for the remaining three spots.They have to go through the second round.Second round was a PK round.Four of the past years champions were invited to sing along with their juniors.They were Zeng Guo Hui, Zheng Wei Kang, Li Zheng Fa and Yan Wan Chean.

Round two required all the judges to vote for the contestants to entitle them to the final.Contestants with votes that was lower than 3 will not be able to proceed to the final.Two of the contestants only managed two votes from the judges.They were Wei Quan and Jie Yu.After a brief discussion among the judges, Jie Yu was chosen for the final spot.

He got eliminated in this final hurdle.He was known as the PK King.However he cannot be compare with last year PK Queen Seow Mei.

Astro Star Quest 2009 Semi Final Three

The theme for this semi was ' Wu Dong Quan Cheng Tiao Zhan Sai '

It is like a dance competition.Just plus singing.

I pretty enjoy what I saw on the tele.I think it was the best semi by far.

This time around, all the contestants have to sing and dance at the same time.It probably was the toughest thing to do for most of the contestant.

There were two contestants that got themselves eliminated this time.

Astro Star Quest 2009 Semi Final Two

We have nine more contestants in the competition.

The theme for this Semi was ' 90 Nian Dai Tian Wang Tian Hou '

Every contestants are required to sing a song that was sang by ' Tian Wang, Tian Hou ' of the 90's.

She got eliminated in this round.I personally think that it was kinda wasted for Lizzie cause she was one semi away to the dancing round which she has lots of advantage.She knew how to dance.If she could last till Semi 3 I am pretty sure that she will be able to proceed to Semi 4.

Story One

I was using my Dettol hand sanitizer.Then I offered Michelle some of it.She told me that she never trust things like that.She said that even though you apply those sanitizer, it won't help at all.She continued by saying even it seriously does kill 99.9% of the germs at your hand, after a while the germs will be back!

Michelle was right.What she said was logical.I was convinced.

Story Two

Max told me that one of his biggest regret was he did not accompany me to go to get a new monitor badge.

I was a monitor back then in Year 6.I lost my monitor badge.In order to get a new badge, I have to go to the headmistress and get scolded by her and pay a couple of Ringgits then only will be able to get a new monitor badge.

Back then I wasn't that brave.I was afraid.I actually stood in front of the office for a few recesses by myself, looking inside and walking here and there.I just couldn't walk in to that room of hers and request for a new badge.

Li Yeong was a monitor before I was one.He knew that I have lost my badge.He snatched the money away from me and walked in to that room.I knew he got scolded.Minutes later he came out with a new monitor badge.I was relieved.

The point is I was glad to have friends like Max.Don't worry about it.It wasn't a matter that you should be regret of.

Astro Star Quest 2009 Semi Final One

We have arrive to the semi final with ten contestants battling for the honour.

The theme of this round was ' Bei Shang Qing Ge Kuai Le Lian Qu '

This was how it works.Every contestants are required to sing two songs.They must begin with a sad song then proceed to another happy song.

I was having a phone conversation with Teck Aun.He was telling me stories of the gathering for Form Sixers.As the stories go on, he asked me to guess why was Pei Ji mad about him?I wouldn't know since I did not attend that gathering, so I asked for a hint.

Teck Aun said chi-ka.

What on earth is CHI-KA?

Then he say when you press your phone what sound do you hear?

I was like camera make sounds like CHI-KA?

CHI-KA sounds more like Pikachu to me.haha.

Well Pei Ji was mad because Teck Aun was snapping pictures of her all day long with his cellphone.

How does a camera sounds after taking picture with it??

Astro Star Quest 2009 Revival Round

There were twelve contestants that were eliminated in the earlier rounds.They were given a chance to be the top 10 through the revival round.Only two capable contestants will be chosen to join the other 8 for the remaining top 10 spot.

How this revival round works?

Every contestants have to sing a song each.Then the judges will cast their vote.There were 4 judges.In order to proceed to the next round, contestants have to impress the judges.Even one of the judges did not vote for you, it's all over for that contestants.

There were only four contestants who managed to impress the judges by getting all four votes.Since there were two more spots available, four of them have to battle it out in the PK round.Who were the four that managed to impress all four of the judges.They were Alvin, Spy , Billy and Elva.

I have place my bet on Alvin and Vivian.Sadly to say that Vivian has already quit the competition.So there were only eleven contestants competiting for two of the remaining spots.

Since there were 2 males and females in the PK round, it looks like one male and one female will be selected.Surprisingly both males won the PK round and proceed to the semi-final.

Astro Star Quest semi-final is around the corner.I bet there will be more thrills and spills.Stay tune to Astro Wah Lai Toi :)

Astro Star Quest 2009 Preliminary Two

The theme of preliminary two was ' Ou Xiang De Ge ' (Idol's Song)

Round two required contestants to perform one song that is sang by their respective idols.

I found that ' Ye Zi ' sang by chu chu was great.The actual singer was A Sang who was a great singer.

As usual contestants will be eliminated.One contestant was eliminated in Preliminary two.

Preliminary One will always starts with 20 contestants.Then the few contestants with the least points will be eliminated.There were 3 contestants got eliminated for this round.
