Astro Star Quest 2008 Champion went to Wan Chean.
First runner up went to Debbie Lim.
Second runner up went to Hao Ren.
Fourth place went to Danny.
Fifth place went to Natalie.
It was disappointing that Debbie did not win the contest.She was good.However the judges prefer Wan Chean over Debbie.Debbie lost by one vote.There were 7 judges.The final result was Wan Chean's 4 votes to Debbie's 3 votes.Three of the judges from Taiwan pick Debbie to be the champion as for the other 4 chose Wan Chean.
Guest artiste for the day was Eric Lim.He was good.He sang two songs.Yuan lai wo ai de ren shi ni bu shi ta and xing guang.He performed duet with the top 3 contestants.In my opinion the duet with his sister Debbie was the best.
This year's finals was not exciting at all.From the starting till the end,we know who will win first place.After every single round,the judges' comments were too obvious that Wan Chean will win first place.
Although Debbie won second place but she is still the best.
