Flashback for Twenty Eleven

I must say twenty eleven was a great year and I believed I have enjoyed myself throughout the year.

On the twenty first of May, my family and I had one of the best buffet dinner at KL Tower. At the Revolving Restaurant. It was pretty much a cool experience when it comes for free!

From the month of June till the month of August, I had one of the best working experience ever! I was working in the airport and I have met a lot of nice people.

Went to Ipoh for a day trip with Moon and friends.

Third semester began in the month of September and at the same time I got promoted. I became a Supervisor. No more promoter job for me.

Being a Supervisor is definitely not as fun as being a promoter!

Learnt a lot as a Supervisor! Got to know more people!

Fall for someone that is brilliant and influential.

Next to nothing seventeenth of December became the best day of my life.

Had a great time with her!

We ate Taiwan Sausage and Snowflake.

For the first time I felt that Taiwan Sausage is sweet instead of spicy hot!

Tried Snowflake best seller for the first time.

We talk like as if we knew each other for a very long time when we only got to know each other better on the day itself.

Won my third Sukmum medal on the eighteenth of December. Silver in the power walk event. Lost to the Champion by the most ridiculous time!

Sukmum Gold Medal remain elusive for me!

Astro Star Quest 2011 Finals

I have been watching this programme for ten years.Back then it was called the Astro Talent Quest.For the first time top three were all females.In addition to that, I got all five position right although I didn't come up with a prediction post for this time like what I did back then.

Geraldine as expected was crowned Champion!

First runner up goes to Jie Ying.

Second runner up goes to Miko.

At first I thought Miko would get second because when they were going back to their respective home town to perform, Miko was second to go back to her home town to perform.Nonetheless she was pretty good apart from the final performance for the night.

Jie Ying started poorly that night but as the competition went on she got better!She just couldn't let her fans down.The final song she sang was the best for the night.She sang Eason's Chan " Fou Kua " and according to one of the judges this song is a very good song for competition and the way Jie Ying perform it was just the way it supposed to be perform in a competition.That might very well be the reason why Miko got third.

Geraldine deserved to get the Champion because she was consistent throughout the night.I like the part when she sang Siti Nurhaliza's Bukan Cinta Biasa and Ding Dang's " Wo Ai Ta ".

However I think she lost quite a number of fans when she thanked her boyfriend when she was crowned champion.

That night there were five very talented kids were invited to perform on stage.Their performances are awesome!

After the first performance by two of the male kids, the host actually pointed to their fans.She was trying to indicate where was the exact position of their fans that were mostly at their age but she used her middle finger while she was indicating.

Bieber's Concert in Malaysia

It was a last minute decision to attend Bieber's concert.

I was amazed by his voice after watching Justin Bieber's movie.

He was amazing when he was performing in the well known Madison Square Garden.

Next to nothing I was in Stadium Merdeka to witness this young and talented singer.

That day's weather wasn't that great as it was raining earlier.

I actually have to fight through all the muddy area to get to my seats.

What make things worse was the RM198 zone is a free seating zone.It is a first come first serve thing.I arrived at the Stadium at about seven and my seats are slightly better than the RM98 zone due to those inconsiderate audiences that reserved the seats for their friends.Aren't this a first come first serve thing and not a first come first reserve then leave for other business thing!

The concert did not start on time.The concert started at about nine with a countdown.

The concert lasted about an hour and a little more.

Justin wasn't at his best while he was performing on stage.

The concert is not as good as it look like in the movie.

However he is great when everyone is standing on the chairs throughout the concert.

Some of the audience actually stacked a few chairs and stood on it.

Bottom line noone was sitting.Everyone was standing on the chairs and sang along with Bieber.

Twenty Ten

It has indeed been a great year for me.I had one of the most wonderful year so far.

It is the year I finally got myself into University Malaya.I was offered to study the Bachelor of Languages and Linguistics (English) in the best University in Malaysia.I am definitely not complaining.

Things in University started well.Going into the eighth day of University life, I have been invited to train with the University's basketball team.I was pleased to get the invitation.

After a few training sessions, I was selected to be in the team for the upcoming competitions.Our very first competition was Piala Merdeka.We were the champion.

I attended Lee Hom's only autograph session in Malaysia.It was held in One Utama.The best place I can ever thought of.I got his second autograph on his latest album, The 18 Martial Arts.

I celebrated my 21st Birthday in the best way.I celebrated my birthday in Genting the City of Entertainment.Finally I got to enter the casino without any disturbance by the security guard at the entrance.No more identity check.I am at the legal age to gamble.I am twenty one :)

I got to witnessed my Mighty Daddy in the Veteran Asian Basketball Competition.He is superb!

I got a taste of sports competition in University Malaya.I participated in Netball and Basketball.Yes!You didn't hear me wrongly.It is Netball.In University Malaya, there is this Male category for netball.Here is the result :)

Right after that, exams begin.The way exams being conducted in Universities is very different from High School.It is pretty shocking for me when I stepped in the examination hall.There were hundreds of students from various faculties taking the examination at one time.

During one of the weekends in the three weeks of examination, I went for Amit Live Concert in Genting.It is an awesome concert.Amit was wonderful.She can really sing.

Watching Concert in the Arena of Stars is always the best!

Today is the final day of 2010 and I got to know my full examination result.I am very happy to know that I did not fail any of the papers I sat for.Hence no need to repeat any of the subject for the first semester :)

I am very glad that it has been a great year for me and twenty eleven will be better :)

When every students were trying to check in to the hostel, bags were given to every students.

It is normal for us to say that the University is very good.

They gave us so many things from umbrella to pen and etc.

this was one of the things given by the University

However when you think deep enough, there is no such thing as free of charge.As the saying goes there is no free lunch in this world.I remember paying a fee of RM200++ for orientation week.

In other words we deserved these items.We pay for it XD

There is a KFC which is five minutes walking distance away from my college.

I was pretty amaze with everything in University.I have been busy with classes, activities and assignments.

There are a lot of activities for the juniors and I know I wouldn't have time for everything.Hence I chose those that I am truly interested in.

One of the event which I think it would interest me is the event which was organized by the Buddhist Association.The Buddhist Association has a week to sell food in the University.The Buddhist Association would set up a stall at the designated area.

I attended the meeting and I get to know more about the event.I joined the group which was fully in charge on preparing the food.I get to choose the shift I wanted to work in.

Obviously I am not working those shifts alone.I got Winnie and Huez as companies.

Languages and Linguistics

New school term begins on the 12th of July.I have to say that after four lengthy months of working, it is definitely the right time to resume my wonderful study life.

University Malaya offered me Language.ENGLISH that is!

I am definitely not complaining :)

I should be able to enjoy :p

My course mates come from different places.

There is a Russian, an Iranian and an Egyptian.

Several students from China can be found in this English course too.

Finally Malaysians are the majority.

The best part is everyone get together quickly.People in this course is friendly.

Fabulous Closing Ceremony for Orientation

After three days of torturous night, orientation started to be better in terms of the activities and the people.

There were several outdoor activities which was awesomely fun.

I was involved in the tarik tali event and I enjoyed the senam seni at the varsity field.

I personally think that the closing ceremony for orientation week was fun.There was a student who sang Bukan Cinta Biasa.She sang crazily well.She sang like Siti Nurhaliza.

the attendance was great enough to tear apart the hall :p

The cheers for that night was insane.

I think the best college when it comes to cheer definitely belongs to the ninth college.

After all ninth college won the cheer segment in the UM Cares event.

Nonetheless I met up with some nice people.They made this orientation week less torturous.

After the wonderful ceremony all the students went back to their respective colleges.We as the residents of nine went back to ninth.

We were exhausted and the unexpected continue to unfold.

Seniors revealed everything.

Juniors were truly shock.

We got to know that their initial introduction was a fake.

One of the best faker was Samantha Schumacher.She claimed that she is a German.At the end we got to know that she is not a German but she is doing language and major in German Language.Her real name is Samantha Ng.

Seniors apologised for their harsh treatment.

Juniors were kind to forgive the seniors.

It was truly a touching moment.

We also get to know that all those expels are a total bull crap.

We were just lucky to get those punishment -.-

The Nightmare of Orientation Week

Unexpectedly this particular week started off on the 4th of July.I was expecting it to start at the 5th of July.After all I ended my office work at the end of June.I barely had enough rest from work and here comes orientation.

First till the third of July flew by in a flash.I was accompany by my dear family to University Malaya.It was a Sunday.Registration was on that particular day.I was expecting after registration, I get to spend some quality time with my family.At the end I got to know that it would be otherwise.

I checked into the hostel.A lot was playing in my mind.I have a lot to worry.My major concern is my family.I was second to arrive in my room.One of my room mate was earlier than me.I got to know that he is a local too.I discussed with him about who gets where and which.I was thankful he was kind enough to let me have the single bed since I am tall :p

When I was done with my bed issue, I went down the stairs since I got the 4th floor.On the way down of my first flight of stairs, I met up with another student.He asked me a question.Do you know where does Room 4-14 is situated?I laughed and direct him to our new room.

After that I went down to get my bags.My father and my mother accompany me to my room.My parents were happy for me.Finally I am studying in a public University.

Tears of joy filled my mother's and my face.Mine was more to emotional kind of tears.When I saw my mother had tears flowing down from her eyes, I couldn't control my emotion.Tears flow down from mine too.I hugged my mother.I love her very much.I hugged my father too.My father was pleased with what he witness.

I am strong.That particular day was an exceptional one.

Had a brief ice breaking with both my room mates.After that we prepared ourselves for the start of orientation.

Every new students were shocked to witnessed the change of the mood of the day.Our facilitator was harsh with their introduction.They were harsh with us too.It was pretty obvious that they did not give a good first impression to all of us as juniors.We as juniors were forced to sit on the solid floor.I just don't understand since our college has many comfy chairs they should just make full use of it.

First day was tough.We were forced to sleep late at night.In addition to that the unexpected was unfolding itself for the next day.It became worse.In fact the second day was one of the most unforgettable day in my entire life.Since the first day we were not allowed to take our shower and I realised that they did not mention anything about not letting us to take our shower on the second day, we at the 4th floor happily take a quick shower and prepare ourselves for bed.In fact we were ordered to sleep at 1.15am, me and Chin Yee were already on our respective bed, out of a sudden we heard our seniors came knocking doors and I opened the door.We were told to meet in the hall right away in a very gentle tone.That was the unexpected event.

We went to the hall and meet up with others.Only two rows of males can be seen.I thought only males are needed.We were ordered to run to the car park.We were punished.Our facilitator questioned us.Why all of you are still awake when all of you are supposed to go to sleep?Instead we found out that you people went for shower and some even washed their clothes.Those were late were punished to half stand.

After a long session at the car park, we were ordered to gather at the basketball court.Then here comes the penyelia of the college.We were told that since we did not follow simple order, we will be expel from the University.

I was shocked to hear that.Deep inside I told myself I did not expect things to fold out this way.Tan Hong Ten get expel from University on the second day of University.In fact to be precise I would have two days of Orientation in University Malaya.

How am I going to tell my parents about this.I get expel for taking shower and I was preparing to go to sleep.What a joke that was.

They as our facilitator and the penyelia were stern.They stood on their principles that they had called a bus to pick us up from the college and send us back to our respective homes.

We were bashed with ridiculous questions in our face.Questions that we were not too sure how to answer.

At one point all of us apologised and we promised that we will never repeat the exact mistake again.We were forgiven but under one condition.We were categorised in a special unit.This special unit has to assist the facilitator to control the new students.In addition to that instead of waking up early and gather at 5 in the morning in the hall, we have to wake up early and gather in the hall at 4.30am.We agree to that.

To complete the miserable for the night we have the honour to walk back to the dorm with the grand prize.The grand prize was very ridiculous.We were forced to duck walk back to our respective dorm.All the sitting on the solid floor had given a hard time to my butt, this worsen the pain on the butt.Try and imagine late at night we were performing duck walk back to our dorm.Going downwards and upwards made everything tougher.

When me and Chin Yee arrived back to our dorm we collapsed and take a short nap.It was 3.15 in the morning and we were planning to wake up at 4 in the morning.

It is indeed an unforgettable experience for me -.-

The Wait

The wait towards the 25th of February was heart beating.It was one of the day that can bring changes to my life.At noon, I received a call from my mother.That particular phone conversation was flooded with tears.At first thought, my result must be very disappointing.It turned out to be otherwise.I did fairly well this time around.I felt great.

Application for public University came next.I was bothered.I had no idea which should be my eight correct choices.Thankfully my parents were very courteous.They had everything well planned.They knew what is right for me and they went surfing through the net to obtain more information.They found a site which had information of past years rate of admission.The site tells about the admission of students with their respective CGPA.The wait for the dateline was pretty fast.31st of March came out of nowhere.I submitted my application on the 30th because I know that particular day was a lucky day.

On the 20th of April I got to know that I got that interview spot in Universiti Malaya.To make things better I have to sit for the Munsyi from USM.The wait for the interview was unbearable.If I do not have to work I am sure that I will not be able to sleep well for that particular week until the day for interview.The interview falls on the 23rd of April and Munsyi was the day after.The wait for Munsyi was good because I was aware of what was it about.

I was interviewed by two different lecturers.One of them looked very stern and the other looked friendly.I was flooded with questions that I cannot answer.I told myself to calm down and I gone through that session with uncertainties.However my answers show that I want University Malaya so much.The friendly one looked impressed and I was sure she would put a tick right beside my name.The other one was not very pleasant.The question that was raised by her was not given a good reply from me.She didn't looked impress.It looks like if she was the only sole lecturer that interview me, I would not stand a chance.

At the end of the interview, I say it is 50-50 that I will get myself into Universiti Malaya.

Then I prepare my mood for Munsyi for the day after.It was relatively easy if it is to be compared with the interview.All I had to do for Munsyi was answering simple questions such as what is your interest and questions which were all about you.I enjoyed it and I was pretty sure that I would be in USM months later.

The wait which lasted from the 24th of April until the 17th of June was horrible.Time goes by as if that a day was like a year.Work was tiring and boring.I didn't like things to be routine.I was always stucked in the office doing the same thing over and over again.

I was told that the 18th of June is D-Day.I would know which University I will be going once the clock reached Noon.Thankfully it was the Day for the LA Lakers and the Boston Celtics too.It was the game 7 of the NBA Finals.Whoever wins that game will be crown Champion.The wait from morning till noon was full with excitement due to that match.Boston started well but did not hold on to it which resulted a painful loss to the Lakers who was crowned champion later.I wasn't happy but the game plays it role to make me feel that time goes by in a flash.

However once we received the reply text from Universal Postal Union that I was accepted to study in University Malaya, it changed the mood of my family.We were glad and it put a big smile on every family members especially my caring parents.They were exceptionally happy.

We enjoyed our meal.

I was happy and I am proud to be given an opportunity to further my studies in one of the best University.

The wait from the 18th of June to registration which fall on the 4th of July was crazily and insanely quick.Time just flies.I realised I love being at home.I was not very happy with the fact that I have been working for the previous four months.The time being in the office was way more than being at home.Now I have to stay in the hostel which pretty much occupy my time at home.

The wait to be at home most of the time begins!

I dread work.I look forward to go back to school.

However I am sure when the new school semester begins I would think otherwise.

Since it is April Fool I would like to post something regarding about it.Unfortunately there isn't any quality post regarding April Fool.Hence I am going to post something that is a LOL quality type of post.

During the previous weekend I was working as a promoter.

A Pringles Promoter again to be precise.

Naturally there would be a call needed to be answer the day before work starts.

The fella that supposed to call me is DUMB.

He called me late at night.I was taking my shower.I wasn't able to answer that call.

I got a text from that DUMBO!

Here is the text.

Me is your pringles supervisor this 27/3, 28/3.Anything call in to me.Tomorrow reach your outlet before 11.30 to conform all the thing can standby before 12pm.Thank you.

What the hell?ME IS and conform!

At midnight he called again.It is obvious my cell was switched off.

Then when I woke up in the morning.I got a text.

It reads

When you reserve my massage.Please reply my massage.Thank you.

I was like What The Hell.

It seriously is a LOL type of message.

Ask Uncle for a Piece of Chip

As you know I was working as a Pringles promoter for two previous weekends.

My job was to give out samples and persuade customers to buy some Pringles chip.

Since I have to promote potato chips it is obvious to say that my prime target would be children and teenagers.

Whenever there was any children or teenagers happen to drop by I would happily offer them some chips.

What annoy me to the max was when those children came by with their parents they were too shy to ask for some chips.Here comes the parents acknowledging their children.

COME BOY/GIRL.ASK THE PRINGLES UNCLE FOR SOME CHIPS!

What the hell!Do I look like an uncle?

Without any hesitation I clarify things right away.I told those parents and strengthen that I am a KOR KOR I am not an uncle!I am YOUNG!

There was another incident which made me feel very STRESS!

I was walking with my area supervisor whose age is twenty eight.We happened to drop by one of the credit card booth.

I don't usually catch the attention of the sales person because they knew that I am a student that may not afford a credit card.

Surprisingly I caught one of the sales person attention.She actually hand over a pamphlet to me.

She was trying to persuade me to sign for the credit card by offering me free GPS device.

I was pissed!

My supervisor happened to be twenty eight and none of the sales person give him a pamphlet.

The point is I still have not reach the age of twenty one yet I got a pamphlet.

What the hell is wrong with those sales person!

When Pringles meet up with Stayfree

During the weekends I was working as a promoter in Giant.

When I was trying to get in to work on the sixth of March I met up with a long lost friend.

She managed to recognised me right away.I was pleased.

Experience vs Qualification

I was talking with Jamie yesterday.She thinks that experience plays a bigger role in getting an awesome job.Awesome refers to a well pay job.

I cannot agree with her.I think that qualification is the key to secure a brighter future.

She has a point that experience is important.However I just didn't like the point which she claimed that studying Form 6 is a waste of time.

What I see in my current working environment is experience is the one that counts in this working society.

I just found it not acceptable.It is ridiculous!

Memorable Event

School is starting soon.However it has nothing to do with me now.I used to dread going to school when school was going to start.I love long school holidays.I love spending time in front of the television watching my favourite programmes or at least I do not need to do anything regarding books, homework, assignments and etc.

At this very moment, I try to recall the days when I have to prepare for school.Especially for the first day of every new schooling year, it definitely was the most important day of a new schooling year.It is just funny when things are happening the way it is now.

I remembered I always look forward to the first day of the new schooling year but when the day comes, I tend to be nervous and kept thinking that I have left something behind.What makes things worse was I wasn't prepare for school.Bag was not pack, water bottles are not filled, stationary are not in good shape and etc.

The mood was right for the new schooling year but I tend to do things the very last minute.Before the new school year start I always imagine that when I get up, I'll put on my uniform, take few pieces of bread and grab my bag.Then I am all set for school.

In the end I packed my bag at the very last minute, filled the water bottle before I leave and grab some well packed bread and rush myself to school.

Things rarely go accordingly to plan :)

Brand New Year

New Year has arrive!It is 2010!I am now a year older :)

I shall keep this simple.

I have three new year's resolution this time around.

Firstly get good results for my examination.

Secondly is get myself into a local University.

And the third one is be a better me :)

Year Ends

It is already the 31st of December.Time certainly flies.

The two things I remember for the year of 2009 are working and repeating Form 6.

I also learned two things.

Good Friends will never be good friends forever.It doesn't mean that there are no such things as good friend but it definitely require two friends to keep their friendship well.

When brawn and brain take place in a game of basketball the one that plays with brain wins!

The two movies I watched before the year ends are Avatar and Alvin and the Chipmunk.

I Miss School

I have been having my holidays for thirteen days and I am already missing school.

I wish that I will be able to go back to school or study in college again.

It is kinda ridiculous that I am missing college so badly.

Somehow I just feel that attending classes are way better than going out there and look for a job.

I just don't feel like working.

How good if I am allow to enter University right away.

Things are just weird -.-

Objective Papers

All I have to bring to the examination hall is a pencil and an eraser apart from my identity card and examination slip.

My remaining examination papers are all in objective form.

Both papers are in the afternoon.

These allow me to study in the morning.

I am not complaining at all.

I am a happy guy :)

Gap

I still have two more matches to go.

First match is on this Wednesday.

Opponent is Pengajian Am 1

Second match for the week is on this Thursday.

Opponent is BM 1

I am alright with it but the only downside to it is I had my previous paper on last Thursday.

It means that I have a five days gap before my next opponent.

It allow me to rest myself too much which is not a good sign.

It seems like I am having my holidays now -.-

Second Week of Examination

It was week two of examination.It was also known as the horror week.

I have to bear with a back to back Economics papers.

In addition to that, after Economics paper 2 ended, I was only given a mere fifteen hours to prepare for my next paper which is Pengajian Perniagaan 2.

I should be able to pass my Economics this time around.I am not asking too much for Economics.Grade C is good enough.

As for my Business paper I was pretty confident that I should be able to get a B plus or a possible A minus.After dealing with Pengajian Perniagaan 2, my wish for achieving that was quite tough.The question to Pengajian Perniagaan 2 was quite alright, it was just that the preparation for it is not that convincing.Hence Grade B will be fine -.-

Now I look forward to the remaining papers.

I have taken Microeconomics yesterday.

It gave me a severe stress.

Since Microeconomics=Stress

Then Macroeconomics=MacroStress :p

I have to work hard to pass my macroeconomics.

I can pass my Microeconomics and I can also pass my Macroeconomics!

I need a lot of luck!

Hard work is needed as well!

Tomorrow I will be having my Macroeconomics.

Prediction for this paper is a simple C will do.

As long as I can leap over this very hurdle I will do fine :)

Week two of exam has finally arrived.

It is known as the Economy week.

I have to bear with two tough papers in three days time.

My fourth opponent is Ekonomi 1 -.-

The toughest opponent of all.

I am super worry now.

I think if economy crisis happen also won't be as bad as me sitting for the exam :p

Prediction for the outcome of this particular paper.

I am hoping for a C.

Still working hard to get a C >.<

Second Day of Examination

Two back to back papers in a day made me a tired student :p

I woke up early in the morning to run through the BM workbook.I have not been revising for my Bahasa paper.

My strategy was start answering the paper from part D then continue with part C then proceed to part B and finally only answer question from part A.

This strategy of mine was too risky.

Part A requires candidates to write an essay consists of seven hundreds words.The mark given for this part is 50.Part B requires candidates to write a rumusan.20 is given for rumusan.As for part C and part D, each part is giving 15 each.

What's wrong with me to start answering question from the lower mark given to the highest.That is why this is risky :p

However things was alright.I managed to finish Part B, C and part D in 1 hour and 45 minutes.I took the remaining time to complete the 700 words essay.I stick to my initial strategy.

I managed to finished the paper on time.The paper was quite alright.I am now aiming for a B plus for this paper :)

After that, there was a 3 hours break.I quickly went back home to do some revision for my next paper.Thankfully these 3 hours of revision did help me to answer questions for Niaga 1.I was amazed that I was able to answer question 2 for my Niaga paper :)

It is almost certain that I will answer question 1, 2, 7 and 8 for my niaga paper.

Question one and two are compulsories.I don't usually managed question 2.However I was lucky that I was able to answer a full question 2.Thank God :)

Daddy always remind me that God only helps those that prepare.

When I first saw question 2 I think of what daddy say :)

I think both papers are quite alright.I am more confident now to face my next hurdle!

My first paper for today was Bahasa Malaysia paper 2.

There should be 11 candidates sitting for this particular paper in my class.

However only 8 turned up.

What is odd if asked?

It is a Bahasa Malaysia paper.

Seven out of eight candidates that sat for the paper in my class were Indians.

I am the only Chinese that sat for this paper in my class :p

I am alright with it.Things like this never bother me.

What make things more obvious was the invigilator was an Indian too!

I was pretty pleased that I managed to complete the whole paper.For the first time I finished all five parts required.

I don't usually do part D which required candidates to draw a graph.

I am weak in this part.Besides I don't usually have time to draw a graph when you are required to write three long essays in three hours time.

I started with part B then I proceed to part A.Both these questions have taken close to two hours from the three hours given.I spent fifteen minutes on part C.

I completed part E in half an hour time and for the remaining thirty minutes was for the graph.

I finished the whole paper on time.When the clock showed eleven, I took a final look at my paper to make sure that the correct details have been written down.

I am confident now!

When I stepped in the school this morning, I saw two familiar back.I was sure they were my former school mates.

I think that they should stop letting the audience to send in messages to vote in competition such as the Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant.

I strongly think that it is unfair for those really good contestants.It is unfair for them to lose out because of the help of smses.

Let's talk about the recent Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2009 Finals.

I think the top 3 winners was pretty good.I think all three of them deserved to win.However I think contestant number 3 do not deserve a place in the top 5.

How did she managed fifth position if asked?

It was just easy.She was voted by the audience.She was crowned the favourite contestant among audiences.

As if she was voted by the audiences.I strongly believe that she asked her friends and family keep sending votes for her that will ensure her to be one of the top 5 contestants.

In my opinion it was unfair for Fiona who was a better contestant that deserve to be Top 5 if compare to contestant number 3 that won fifth position because of all the voting from the so called audiences.

I strongly think that the organizers should abolish this sms voting to ensure a more quality competition.

I went to Genting with my family.Had a night stay in Highland Hotel.We had a buffet dinner in coffee terrace.The food there was awesomely good.Plus there was a variety of food to choose from.I ate a lot.From local favourites to Western to Japanese and so many more.After that I had a rest in the hotel.Due to over eating, I vomited >.<

My Family and I went back to grandmother's house.One way trip took about three hours plus.Sit until butt ache!Well, I had a lot of wantan noodles during breakfast.The ' Gu Ling Peng ' was awesomely good.Well it is actually milk with ice.Yummy :p

Had a karaoke session with friends.Namely Ke Wei, Moon, Yin Mei, Lay Wah and Li Yeong.It costs me RM40.It was very expensive.Bottom line is don't go to Neway for karaoke session.Anyway Ke Wei can really sing.She sang like Mariah Carey!

Outing with Year Six Friends

We had a small gathering two Sundays ago.Since Max was around, he planned everything.From informing people about the outing to setting up the early birthday celebration for Jia Min.

The attendance was pretty good.Eight members of 6I attended.Four guys and four girls.There was something common among the boys and among the girls.Guys were all in glasses and none of the girls were in glasses.

The initial plan was to have our meals in a steamboat restaurant.Max found out that the restaurant was shifted hours before the gathering.Then here comes plan B!We went to Tram Car for lunch.

The food there was pretty good!

The others had a set lunch each.Throughout our time in Tram Car, we talked, talked and talked!The part when we had fun the most was talking about school life during Year 6.I still cannot remember anything regarding Yi Peng ' bullied me ' when it comes to monitor's job.She said that she was the one that did all the easy bitsy job and I was the one that do all the hard work.To me, copying names of pupils that were disobedient was pretty tough to me :p

Astro Star Quest 2009 Finals

The finale has finally ended.Who was crowned Champion of 2009?

I have to say that all my predictions went wrong.None of my predictions were right.

In my opinion this year's final wasn't that good.I was disappointed with the outcome.

The winners for this year's final are :

Champion : Min
First runner up : Kah Fai
Second runner up : Jie Yu
Third runner up : Ryan
Fourth runner up : Alvin

The night started with ' Wu Dong Quan Cheng ' which required the contestants to dance and sing at the same time.There wasn't much problem for Ryan since it was a round which he can perform very well.Jie Yu was below par for this round.

Then the competition proceed with the ' Qing Ge ' round.This round there wasn't much problem for Min and Kah Fai since it was the round which they can perform well.Jie Yu performance for this round was exceptionally well.She sang ' Yan Hai Di Dai '. She sang really well.

After round two has ended, Wan Chean was invited to perform on stage.She sang ' Zhan Chi Gao Fei '.There wasn't much problem for her since she was the champion of 2008.

Alvin was announced as the fourth runner up moments later.Then the other four proceed to round three which required each of the contestants to sing with the company of live band.After the round has ended Ryan was announced as the third runner up.

Now we have our top three contestants.Min, Kah Fai and Jie Yu.They are lucky to have Janice Wei Lan to sing along with them.However Janice only managed to perform one demo because she was not feeling well.At the end each of the contestants help each other by becoming Wei Lan and sing along with each other.It was like role playing.Kah Fai was nervous throughout the round.He did not perform well.As for both of the female contestants, they were exceptionally good especially Jie Yu.At that point, I strongly thinks that Jie Yu will be champion.Eventually she became the second runner up.I think it was not fair for Jie Yu.She should proceed to the next round since her performance was exceptionally well.Kah Fai should not be chosen as the top two.I think there was this favourtism in the judges.They let Kah Fai proceed to the next round instead of the much deserved Jie Yu.

It was down to the final two after two hours and fourty-five minutes of competing.They performed a medley of songs.

Eventually Min was crowned as the champion.She have four votes from the judges which won her a brand new Honda City.I notice there was this motorbike for first runner up.It kinda suits Kah Fai.Should I say it was destined that Kah Fai became the first runner up.Afterall you don't expect a female to ride a bike.Min look better in her brand new honda city :p

My predictions for Astro Star Quest 2009 Finals

Today is the day that the top 5 contestants battle it out for the top spot.Who will emerge as the champion of 2009?

Firstly I would like to introduce this year's top 5 contestants.They are:

Alvin

I think he is good.He has a great voice and he has the package to be a star.My first pick to be the champion of ASQ 2009.

Min

I strongly thinks that she looks way better in her long hair.However she can sing very well.I predict that she will be the first runner up for this year's ASQ.

Ryan

I think he would be this year's second runner up.It is just simple.He has the look to be a star and he can dance although he don't really sing very well.Remember last year's second runner up?Both of them are hardworking in order to minimize their weaknesses in singing.

Kah Fai

He is everyone's favourite to be crown this year's champion.He is known as the king of Canto.He can really sing very well especially when he sings cantonese songs.However I have a feeling that he will be this year's 3rd runner up.

Jie Yu

Finally to our fifth contestants.I think she will be this year's fifth place winner.She is good but the other four contestants are better.However I hope she will perform well tonight.

Another Train Story

I am a regular passenger of LRT.As usual I was on my way home.I was standing in the middle of the train.

Out of a sudden, a quarrel started between a man and a lady.I think the quarrel started because the lady was standing too close to the man which resulted him too little of standing space.After a while, they stopped quarreling.

However when the man arrived at his destination, he scolded the lady.The lady replied with the famous ' F ' word.

The man was furious.

He gave her a whack on the head.

I am not sure who is right and who is at fault.

However one thing for sure a gentlemen shouldn't hit a lady.

Astro Star Quest 2009 Semi Final Four

It has come to the final 6 contestants.Who will be the 5 finalists to be chosen for the final?Who will be eliminated this time around?

The theme for this semi was ' Ta Men De Cheng Ming Qu '

This time around only one of the six contestants will be eliminated.

Two contestants will not need to go through second round to enable themselves for a spot in the final.They were Kah Fai and Min.Kah Fai scored the highest in this semi.

The other 4 contestants have to battle out for the remaining three spots.They have to go through the second round.Second round was a PK round.Four of the past years champions were invited to sing along with their juniors.They were Zeng Guo Hui, Zheng Wei Kang, Li Zheng Fa and Yan Wan Chean.

Round two required all the judges to vote for the contestants to entitle them to the final.Contestants with votes that was lower than 3 will not be able to proceed to the final.Two of the contestants only managed two votes from the judges.They were Wei Quan and Jie Yu.After a brief discussion among the judges, Jie Yu was chosen for the final spot.

He got eliminated in this final hurdle.He was known as the PK King.However he cannot be compare with last year PK Queen Seow Mei.

It is like a dance competition.Just plus singing.

I pretty enjoy what I saw on the tele.I think it was the best semi by far.

This time around, all the contestants have to sing and dance at the same time.It probably was the toughest thing to do for most of the contestant.

Every contestants are required to sing a song that was sang by ' Tian Wang, Tian Hou ' of the 90's.

Story One

I was using my Dettol hand sanitizer.Then I offered Michelle some of it.She told me that she never trust things like that.She said that even though you apply those sanitizer, it won't help at all.She continued by saying even it seriously does kill 99.9% of the germs at your hand, after a while the germs will be back!

Michelle was right.What she said was logical.I was convinced.

Story Two

Max told me that one of his biggest regret was he did not accompany me to go to get a new monitor badge.

I was a monitor back then in Year 6.I lost my monitor badge.In order to get a new badge, I have to go to the headmistress and get scolded by her and pay a couple of Ringgits then only will be able to get a new monitor badge.

Back then I wasn't that brave.I was afraid.I actually stood in front of the office for a few recesses by myself, looking inside and walking here and there.I just couldn't walk in to that room of hers and request for a new badge.

Li Yeong was a monitor before I was one.He knew that I have lost my badge.He snatched the money away from me and walked in to that room.I knew he got scolded.Minutes later he came out with a new monitor badge.I was relieved.

The point is I was glad to have friends like Max.Don't worry about it.It wasn't a matter that you should be regret of.

I was having a phone conversation with Teck Aun.He was telling me stories of the gathering for Form Sixers.As the stories go on, he asked me to guess why was Pei Ji mad about him?I wouldn't know since I did not attend that gathering, so I asked for a hint.

Teck Aun said chi-ka.

What on earth is CHI-KA?

Then he say when you press your phone what sound do you hear?

I was like camera make sounds like CHI-KA?

CHI-KA sounds more like Pikachu to me.haha.

Well Pei Ji was mad because Teck Aun was snapping pictures of her all day long with his cellphone.

Astro Star Quest 2009 Revival Round

There were twelve contestants that were eliminated in the earlier rounds.They were given a chance to be the top 10 through the revival round.Only two capable contestants will be chosen to join the other 8 for the remaining top 10 spot.

How this revival round works?

Every contestants have to sing a song each.Then the judges will cast their vote.There were 4 judges.In order to proceed to the next round, contestants have to impress the judges.Even one of the judges did not vote for you, it's all over for that contestants.

There were only four contestants who managed to impress the judges by getting all four votes.Since there were two more spots available, four of them have to battle it out in the PK round.Who were the four that managed to impress all four of the judges.They were Alvin, Spy , Billy and Elva.

I have place my bet on Alvin and Vivian.Sadly to say that Vivian has already quit the competition.So there were only eleven contestants competiting for two of the remaining spots.

Since there were 2 males and females in the PK round, it looks like one male and one female will be selected.Surprisingly both males won the PK round and proceed to the semi-final.

Astro Star Quest semi-final is around the corner.I bet there will be more thrills and spills.Stay tune to Astro Wah Lai Toi :)

Round two required contestants to perform one song that is sang by their respective idols.

I found that ' Ye Zi ' sang by chu chu was great.The actual singer was A Sang who was a great singer.

As usual contestants will be eliminated.One contestant was eliminated in Preliminary two.

Music Man Live Concert

The concert started when Lee Hom descended from the top.He sang What's Wrong With Rock first.He sang it slow and steadily.Totally different from his album.It was very new to me.

The theme for the concert was marvel comics.Superheroes from Superman to Spiderman and Batman can be seen during the concert.Well there is one very special superhero that cannot be seen in the marvel comics.It is the Music Man.To all the 25000 people in the stadium, Music Man is the only superhero that we bother :p

When Lee Hom transformed into music man.He came out with his weapon- The Bahamut.

He sang 30 songs that night.From heartbeat to Long De Chuan Ren to Yi Shou Jian Dan De Ge and etc.When he sang Change Me, he definitely gave us a surprise.At first Xiao Li the drummer appeared.He started playing the drum.Then Xiao Wang and Xiao Hong appeared with their respective instruments.They started playing their instruments.The vocalist Wang Lee Hom appeared shortly and belted out Change Me.Four LEE HOM performing on stage at the same time.This was unbelievable.

The second trick came when he belted out Zai Mei Bian.This song has a part that required rapping.When he was rapping on stage, he walk into a contraption.When the contraption is opened, he is nowhere to be found.Then he appeared in the middle of the stadium.Giving us a surprise.He caught us without realising that he appeared in the middle of the stadium.He sang Gai Shi Ying Xiong when appearing in the middle of the stadium.

I do not know how he vanished from the contraption but when he was rapping on stage, there were two motorbikes caming in and one of the bikes has two people on it.One of them was covered with huge blanket.I supposed the person that got covered was Lee Hom.

He sang Luo Ye Gui Gen with the companion of the violin.My favourite was when Lee Hom played the piano and sang Wo Men De Ge.That was my favourite.He also sang Wei Yi and Ni Bu Zai with the piano.

He did interact with the crowd that night.He spoke to fans from Hong Kong, China, Korea, Indonesia, Singapore , Japan in their native languages.Not forgetting the Malaysian Fans too.

His final song was An Chuan Gan.Then he said goodbye to the audience.Well it is very common to have encores in concert nowadays.The audience wasn't that into it when shouting for encores.Shortly Lee Hom reappeared on stage.He sang Fang Kai Ni De Xin.Suppose to have a standing ovation but was ruined by the audience behind me.They did not stand up cause if I were to stand, I will be blocking them.Then the second encore song was Ai Ni Deng Yu Ai Zi Ji.

Before he sang Kiss Goodbye, he joked a little.He said he loves all his fans.Feel like giving every one of us a kiss but because of the AH1N1 flu, he would sing Kiss Goodbye instead.Then he ended the concert with What's Wrong With Rock! again.This time he sang it the album way.

I get to know a friend that is really insane.He is a fanatic.He is a fan of Jay Chow.He has all sorts of collectibles and have tonnes of collection that is related to Jay Chow.From cds to figurine and so many more.You name it he got it.

Before the concert

I went to Stadium Bukit Jalil by train.I arrived in Bukit Jalil at 7 pm.When I was at the exit, Teck Chai called me through the phone.I did not pick up the phone because I was in a massive crowd that were trying to get out of the station.

I climbed the stairs that is leading to the stadium.I tried to reached for my phone.I checked the missed call and only knew that it was Teck Chai.When I was preparing to call him back, he appeared right in front of me.

Then another call came in.This time it was Teck Aun calling.He wanted to tell me that his brother is watching Lee Hom too.I laughed.What a coincidence!

I was standing right in front of the entrance and there were two promoters giving out red packets.Usually these red packets contain coupons or vouchers.One of them walk towards me and gave me one.There were two girls that got theirs first and immediately they opened up the red packets.They were in shock and exclaimed that there was A RINGGIT in the red packet.At first, I couldn't believe what I heard.I opened my red packets without further due.I was shocked to find out that there was A RINGGIT in it.Who has expected this?

There was this Boston booth.They were offering a lucky draw.To entitle yourself for the draw, all you have to do is to buy their sandwich combo and you will get a form.Fill up the form then drop it in the appropriate container and wait for the draw starts.The combo is priced at RM10 per set.I did not bother to go for it because I know that the chances are very low.If you are lucky to be drawn and you will get to see Lee Hom during the ' qing gong yan ' .

There was this X-Pax booth that was offering posters of Lee Hom by just topping up your phone credits.Of course it is only for Celcom users.

It was indeed a great weekend.There is three days off from college.

In addition to that Lee Hom was in town on Saturday.His concert was awesome.In fact it was beyond awesome.

Thankfully it was a public holiday on the first of May.I managed to take a good rest for Lee Hom's concert :)

There is a Screenplay entitle The Sun After Washed by Spring Rain.The play is about a Puppet.I have decided to give it a miss because there is No Reason to Pay Attention to You.The play has a stronger Competitor.The singer of What's Wrong With Rock!! is in town.How could I not go for the concert.I strongly believe that the singer will give his Everything to make the concert great.The concert venue is going to be Another Heaven.The song Dirty Love is definitely not dirty.

I was walking towards the LRT station.I saw a boy.He looked like he wanted to cry.I wasn't bother at first.When I was approaching the entrance, I heard someone was shouting.I turned around.That particular boy was shouting at his mother.He cried.At the same time he demanded nasi lemak with a very impolite tune.

I was angered by his act.I just couldn't control myself.I walked towards the boy.

I asked him why was he so rude to his mother?

Can't you speak nicely when you want your nasi lemak!

He stopped crying.He stared at me.I noticed his mother was walking towards the stall and bought him his nasi lemak.I did told her mother not to buy for him because in a way his mother is giving in and as time goes buy the boy will take advantage.

Deep inside I was questioning myself, who on earth give me the right to actually confront the boy!I regretted a little.I asked myself do I actually have the right to scold that boy for being rude?I am not obedient either.

I always wonder is there any perfect living being?

How good if there is one or a few.

I hope I will be the one or at least one of them so I do not need to live in my unnecessary thoughts.

I hope I am perfect.

I know it is impossible!

LRT Woes

College has started for a couple of weeks.LRT has been the only transport I travel to college.I have to say that it is very convenient.However I see more negative sides of the LRT than the positive sides.

I noticed that most of the passengers enjoy standing right in front of the doors.I don't understand why they like to stand so near to the door?It block the others from boarding the train.It looks like the train is packed with people but the inner part of the train is not fill with people.It really irritates me when the train is quite empty and I cannot get myself into the train.

I also noticed that most of the passengers carry a bag along with them.However there were some of them that carry really huge bags.Those with their gigantic bags never care for the others as if like they were carrying a tiny little bag.Their bags are so huge that those bags can easily hurt others with their brainless owners moving in the train like no one's problem.One of the day, there was this guy with his really huge bag, he never realized that his bloody bag actually took up my standing space and it irritates me to the max when there isn't much standing space for myself.

This one irritates me the most.Passengers tend to rush in the train when the passengers inside have not even step out of the train.Every morning, at least from Monday to Friday, I have to face a big bunch of brainless passengers to board the train when I am trying to get out of it.Why can't they wait for the passengers inside to come out first!Here comes the worst, I try to pull myself out but the passengers outside of the train tend to push you away.Hence I couldn't get out of the train in a straight line and I have to get out of the train by walking towards the side before those brainless bunch get in.

Please be considerate for the others.

Try not to stand so near to the door.It may allow others to enter or get out from the train easily.

If you have to bring a really huge bag, make sure it doesn't harm the other passengers.

Finally please allow passengers in the train to get out of the train first before you board the train.

What is the definition of friend?

According to the dictionary friend means a person whom one knows well and is fond of.It also means a supporter or a sympathizer.

In my opinion, friend can be anyone.Even strangers that you talk to on the street are considered as friends.As long as they don't harm you.

It is not exactly that when you know a person well, he/she is known as a friend.For instance, we tend to accept people that we do not know as a friend in a social network.Hence people we may not know well can be known as a friend too.

Well, I couldn't define friend properly but I do think that friends are divided into several groups.

Normal Friends

This is the group of people that you know and you barely talks to them.The most common things to say are hi and byes.This group of people normally consists of school mates or colleagues from different department.

Close Friends

This is the group of people that you currently hang out with.You tend to meet up with this group of people most of the time.This group of people normally consists of class mates or colleagues.Hence these make this group of people close to you.

During my schooling time in Form 6, I do have a few close friends.They are Pei Ji, Teck Aun, Wei Boon and Wei Voon.

Pei Ji
a.k.a. The Sister
I used to think that I am blur.However when I get to know her well, surprisingly I found that she is the blurest person you can ever find in this universe.Aside from the blurriness, I would say that she is a nice person.She tend to help you when you are in need.Well,why is she known as the sister?It is because both our characteristics are quite alike.

Teck Aun
a.k.a. The Information Counter
I strongly agree with Pei Ji that Teck Aun is like an aunty that is always looking for mega sales.However this character of his always come in handy.He always manage to get the best bargains in town.One do not need to flip through the paper or the internet to look for warehouse sales or any promotional event.A simple call to Teck Aun will provide you to the most accurate answers.Apart from his auntiness, he is also a really nice guy that is always willing to help.During my schooling time in Form 6, he was always willing to give me a ride to school.Besides that he is a considerate person.He thinks for the others.A forgiving person too.

Wei Boon
a.k.a. The Gifted One
He has hidden talents that you wouldn't know until you get to know Wei Boon.Hence I would like to describe him as the gifted one.Apart from this I would say that he is really good in Business Study.He is like a photostat machine.When asked a question about business study, he can provide you with the exact answer from the book.He is also another nice person that never fail to give you a hand when you are in need.He is also known as Wei Voon's Big Brother.

Wei Voon
a.k.a. The Fearsome One
She has this talent for talking none stop.When her engine is started you will never find the end of it.Furthermore, don't look down at this lady.When you accidentally step on her tail, prepare to runaway before she finds your tail.She is as vicious as a wolf.Her moves are agile.One step slower you are gone.However, she has her positive side.She is also another person that is always willing to help.Why is Wei Boon her Big Brother if asked?Well their names rhyme when both names are call upon.Besides that both BOON & VOON have similar characteristics.They love keeping things to themselves.

Mentor Mentee Friends

This is the group of people that you know through a mentor mentee system.What is a mentor mentee system if asked?It is a system which a senior teach a junior the well being of the institution/clubs/society and so on.I have two mentor mentee friends.They are Michelle and Ethan.

Michelle
She was my mentee during my years as a Prefect in SMKDJ.I would say that she is one of the smartest student around.She scores really good results during majors.Nonetheless a very nice person to talk too.Wan Chean's Number ONE fans.

Ethan
He was my mentee during my working period in GSC.He was one of the best I ever taught.He managed to learn everything he should know in a few hours time.After that he can operates himself all day long without any problem.A very helpful person and speaks good English.

Used to Know Friends

This is the group of people you used to know.As time goes by, you get to know them a little better.It normally happens when one was in the same company/school with the other that they know at first, then one was transfered to the same department/class with the other.Hence one know the other a little better.You would get to know this group of friends through certain event too.

Good Friends

This is the group of people that will always give you a hand whenever you are in need.They will help you as long as they are capable to do so.I would like to talk a little about a good friend I know.He is Max Ooi.

Max
A person that loves food a lot.A nice guy.He helps people when they are in need.Speaks good English.A friend I knew since Year Five.A friend that went to the same class with me in Year Six because we did well the year before.Currently he is pursuing an engineering degree.

Better Friends

This is the group of people that you may trust.You do not need to hesitate to call them when you are in need.You are sure that these friends of yours will definitely help you no matter what!They will definitely forgive you although you are in fault.I would say there wouldn't be a lot of better friends around.If you do have one, make sure the friendship last.I do have a better friend.He is Wei Keong.A friend I knew since Year One.

Wei Keong
a.k.a. The Cockroach
I get to know him better during Form One.Although I knew him since Year One, but we never enter the same class after that.We were in a different class since Year Two.I recalled that he was the one that influenced me to listen to good musics.The first album he introduced me to listen to was JJ Lim's first solo album.Since then I started to listen to musics all day long.He is also a forgiving person.Not to forget a VERY generous person.A friend that used to hang out together very often.I am busy nowadays, will see you soon.

Best Friend

I couldn't define best friend because I think it is rare if one have a best friend.In my opinion the best you can get is a better friend.

Perfect Friends

Although there isn't any best friend around but I must say that you will always have the perfect friends with you.They will always be at your side no matter what happens.They will always forgive you no matter how big is your mistake.No matter what the obstacles is, they will always be at your side, supporting/encouraging/advising you to overcome every single obstacles.These friends of yours are of cause your precious family.

It is true that there isn't any best friend around but there is always your family.You can never be afraid to share your sadness with your family.They will definitely cheer you up.They will always be the best forgiver.They always try to correct you by forgetting your previous mistakes.Your family will always be at your side when you need someone to talk too.They will listen patiently and give you proper advice.They will be together with you no matter what you have been through.They will be sad the day you left home.Cherish the time being with your family.

From now on I will cherish the time being with my family.I will also try my best to be a better person by trying to do all the right things and minimize all my wrong doings.I shall help out my parents whenever they need me to do so.I will respect my family and be an obedient person.By being an obedient person, I will be a better person.

It is the 10th of October.It also reads 10/10/2008.It is a double ten.Mooncake festival has long gone but I would like to talk a little about mooncakes.

This year itself my parents' friends gave us tonnes of mooncakes.These mooncakes were from Hong Kong and those cakes were imported to Singapore.My parents' friends happened to sell these mooncakes and they gave us around 60 boxes of mooncakes.

I Got Robbed

On the 27th of September, I got robbed.It happened at 2pm.In my opinion it was miraculously ridiculous that I got robbed at such a time.They were brave to commit such act at this hour of the day.Most of my friends think that it was a joke that I got robbed.Most of them said Hong Ten so tall and big in size who dare to rob wor.

When I was walking down the street, a motorbike came towards me.The riders looked suspicious so I just walk a side.When the bike stopped in front of me, one of the rider was asking for directions but I don't really know where was the place.I did not help them.When I was preparing to leave, one of the rider opened his bag and took out a parang.He said you better cooperate with us.You saw what I have.Take out all your valuables.

However it so happen that I did not bring my handphone and wallet out.I happily handed over my RM7.70.The other rider insisted that I brought my handphone and wallet.He did not believe a teenage boy like me go out without a handphone and wallet.I emptied my pocket and said I do not have a handphone and wallet with me.

When I was preparing to leave, the front rider noticed the red line around my neck.He demanded me to show him.It happened that it was just a normal amulet that cost me around RM10.He stared at my amulet for a short moment.Without hesitaiting he pulled off my amulet and leave.I wanted to take off my amulet for him but he just pulled it off.WTH.

A Gift

We have a little time more to spare in One Utama after the visit to Shakey's Pizza.Three of them looked like they were up to no good.Pei Ji asked me to wait for her pizza and three of them left and wondered around.

When the pizza was ready me and Teck Aun walked around.Then we sat down on a bench while waiting for our van to arrive.Then Wei Boon Pei Ji and Wei Voon appeared.Wei Boon was holding a bag.Out of curiosity I asked him to show me what was inside the bag but he refused.

After that we hopped on the van and got back to school.On the way to Teck Aun's car, Wei Voon was holding the bag which Wei Boon was holding earlier.Then Wei Voon gave the bag to me.

It was a late gift from three of them.I got tricked by three of my close friends.

I was glad although it was a very late gift.

A Visit To Shakeys

It was a trip organized by the Economy Club.It cost me RM31 for this trip.RM16 for the visit to Shakeys and RM15 for the T-shirt.Although it was not a wonderful visit to Shakeys but I did enjoy myself throughout the day.

On the way back, I dropped by in a book shop.

After a short glance in the shop, I went out from the shop.

When I came out from the shop, I saw a piece of red coloured paper on the floor.

Without hesitating, I went towards that piece of paper and picked it up.

It was a ten Ringgit note.

Well I consider today is a lucky day.

Today it will be a historical day for China.There is a very special occasion happening in Beijing,China.This special occasion only happen once in every 4 years.It is the Olympic Games.

Number 8 is an auspicious number for Chinese.China purposely pick this very special date to kick off the opening ceremony.China plan to start the event at 8.08pm.

The date for the opening ceremony is on the 8th of August 2008 8.08pm.

The question is Will China win the most gold medals in this Olympic Games?

How many world records will China be able to break?

Splashy Birthday

I would like to start this post with this week's assembly.My nail clipper got rampas by prefect.I was wrong for cutting my nails during assembly.After the assembly,students have to walk pass prefects to let them check the students nails,socks,hair and etc.

Surprisingly one of the prefect warned that my side-burns are long.I was like WTH!I started not understanding the school rules.I did not get problems like this in my previous school but when I came in to this school,everything has changed tremendously.

Thankfully I got back my nail clipper yesterday.Thousands of thank you to the prefect.

Besides that,yesterday was Wei Voon's birthday.

After school she got splashed by friends of 6 Atas Bidara.The sad thing was she has to go to tuition after school.She was soaky wet.It was a splashy birthday for her.

It was disappointing that Debbie did not win the contest.She was good.However the judges prefer Wan Chean over Debbie.Debbie lost by one vote.There were 7 judges.The final result was Wan Chean's 4 votes to Debbie's 3 votes.Three of the judges from Taiwan pick Debbie to be the champion as for the other 4 chose Wan Chean.

Guest artiste for the day was Eric Lim.He was good.He sang two songs.Yuan lai wo ai de ren shi ni bu shi ta and xing guang.He performed duet with the top 3 contestants.In my opinion the duet with his sister Debbie was the best.

This year's finals was not exciting at all.From the starting till the end,we know who will win first place.After every single round,the judges' comments were too obvious that Wan Chean will win first place.

Although Debbie won second place but she is still the best.

Astro Star Quest Preliminary 9

This is Seow Mei.She was eliminated in ASQ Preliminary 9.It was really sad.I was a fan of Seow Mei since she sang bukan cinta biasa.She was so close to the finals.She is known as the PK Queen but sadly to say that she lost to wan chean.

Now we have our finalist for the Astro Star Quest Finals.They are:
1. Debbie Lim
2. Hao Ren
3. Wan Chean
4. Natalie
5. Danny

In my opinion,Debbie Lim will be crown as the champion.As for the 1st runner up is Hao Ren.2nd runner up goes to Wan Chean.

Last Saturday,I watched one million star season 2.Eric Lim sang Nan Ren KTV.He scored 11 points for it.Alisa and Ling Xin Yi also scored 11.At the end they pked again and Eric won the PK.Eric Lim was the best Ti Guan Zhe.He won himself 20,000 taiwan dollar.In the PK round he sang unchained melody.He sang very well and better than Alisa and Ling Xin Yi.

Talking about Eric Lim,he will be one of the guest artiste for Astro Star Quest 2008 Finals.Astro Star Quest 2008 Finals is on the 26th of July in Stadium Negara at 8pm.I will watch it live at home.

Wee Hua was eliminated in the Astro Star Quest Preliminary 8.

As usual after ASQ,I turned to channel 301 for one million star pk.This time Eric Lim lost to ye wei ting.He scored 19 for singing piano.ye wei ting scored 20.She has beaten Eric Lim.

Saturday's one million star was great.At last Eric Lim has beaten Pei Chi.He sang yuan lai wo zui ai de ren shi ni bu shi ta.He beat Pei Chi by 18 to 17.Pei Chi was great too but Yuan Wei Ren comment was both Eric Lim and Pei Chi did not sang well.
